President Trump visits the Upstate

On Monday, Oct. 16, President Donald Trump visited  Greenville, S.C.  to endorse S.C. Governor Henry McMaster’s 2018 campaign

During his visit, President Trump fulfilled his duties as President with a meet and greet of over 100 supporters who gathered near the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.

McMaster’s fundraiser hosted President Trump at the Embassy Suites in Greenville where he spoke and socialized at the VIP reception. Although, the media and news outlets  weren’t able to enter into the private fundraiser reception, videos from The State cite President Trump delivering a 25 minute speech of recollections from gaining the GOP primary from South Carolina.

President Trump’s endorsement of  Governor McMaster’s campaign comes after a previous donation given by Governor McMaster during President Trump’s election.

President Trump is the second president to visit Greenville after former President George W. Bush delivered the commencement speech at Furman University in 2008.
