Delirium: The Craziest EDM Party in the 843 – A Show Review

I arrived to the Music Farm at approximately nine o’clock on Saturdaynight and as soon as I stepped foot into the Music Farm there was a sense of energy building up for what was to happen tonight.  There were a handful of DJ’s who performed tonight and the first of I picked out four that I found to be particularly good.  The first DJ went by the name of DJ United who messed around with some crazy beats and vocal options with a good mix of energy and fist pumping to excite the crowd.  The next DJ went by the name of DJ Chucky, one of Charleston’s own DJ’s, who came onto the stage playing some old school and new school hip hop tracks that eventually had his own spin on them.  Once DJ Chucky got into the prime of his set, the Music Farm really started to pack in and at 9:45 it seemed almost ready to blow.  Then came my favorite act of the night, DJ Tye Dye Rhymes who really just had the crowd’s attention from the start and really gave that EDM/House vibe that I was really expecting.  He got the crowd involved and really turned the Music Farm up with the passing out of glow sticks and interaction with the crowd.  Lastly Delirium who once again brought crazy energy and beats that turned the crowd up.  All in all, it was a very exciting show and really has me craving to go to more EDM and house concerts and events like Ultra and Electric Zoo.
