UPDATE: According to the New York Times, 58 people are now dead as a result of the attack.
Earlier today, President Donald Trump spoke about the Las Vegas massacre that occurred late Sunday night. Trump called the attack an “act of pure evil.”
My warmest condolences and sympathies to the victims and families of the terrible Las Vegas shooting. God bless you!

The massacre happened during a country music festival on the Las Vegas Strip. The gunfire began at around 10 p.m. on Sunday. The shooter, 64 year old Stephen Paddock, checked into the Mandalay Bay on Thursday and carried more than 10 rifles with him that he fired round after round.
Paddock is believed to be the sole aggressor and the motivation behind the attack is still unknown. Paddock was found dead in his hotel room by Las Vegas SWAT officers.
22,000 people attended the three day country music festival and over 400 people were injured during the attack. At least 50 people died, with the death toll possibly rising. The attack is the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history.
President Trump stated that local law enforcement will provide updates to the investigation. He plans to visit the city on Wednesday.
