Cougars Win Streak Reaches 10 Straight After UNCW Sweep

The Cougars’ dominance over the last few weeks continued Saturday night after their sweep over UNCW.

The College of Charleston controlled the match-winning with scores of 25-16, 25-13, and 25-21. Currently, the Cougars are number one in the CAA standings and are predicted to finish strong as this season comes to a close.

Jane Feddersen and Lauren Freed lead the evening’s offense with eight kills apiece, accompanied by Kennedy Madison’s seven kills.

Krissy Mummey and Devon Rachel both added six kills and the defense was led by McKayla Rhodes with a match-high 17 digs.

Following the Cougar’s victory on Saturday night their record is now 22-4 and have surpassed their win total from last season.

In addition, Allison Beckman’s 27 assists helped to push her into sixth in the program’s all-time assist list. The setter currently boasts an impressive 3,208 career total assists.

The Cougars’ next match is next Friday against Towson.
