Cougars Head Into CAA Tournament As One Seed

The College of Charleston volleyball team extended their win streak to 14 games after a five-set match against William and Mary.

William and Mary put up a fight in this game but it was not enough. The match finished with scores of 25-12, 13-25, 25-19, 21-25  and 15-6 in the final match.

Krissy Mummey posted a match-high sixteen kills, accompanied by three blocks and three service aces. Kennedy Madison contributed with thirteen kills and three blocks to help seal Charleston’s win.

In addition, Jane Feddersen set a new career high will eleven blocks by the end of the game.

The Cougars are the 2017 Regular Season Champions for the first time since the 2014 season and enter the CAA Tournament as the one seed.

The CAA Tournament begins this Friday at James Madison and the Cougars await the results of Northeastern vs. Hofstra game to determine their opponent in the CAA Semi-final game.

The Cougars will play their Semi-final game on Saturday.
