Senior guard  Riller was on fire at the game’s start as he scored 11 of the first 14 points for the Cougars. He would go on to score 19 points by the end of the half.

“I got good looks. My teammates hit me with some really good passes and that made it easy,” said Riller.

Also in the first half, senior Rabinowitz scored his second collegiate basket with a three-pointer from a Miller assist. As the shot went in, the crowd erupted in praise for Rabinowitz.

The College made a large percentage of their shots in the beginning of the first half, with 71.4% happening in the first seven minutes beyond the arc.

The Cougars ended the half leading 39-32.

In the second half, the College led by as much as nine points before Drexel sparked a 9-0 run and gained the lead with eight minutes left in the half.

After a couple defensive stops, the Cougars regained the lead and didn’t look back.

Riller would finish the game with 25 points, three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal. Sam Miller scored 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds. Jaylen McManus contributed greatly to the win, as well, with 13 points and six rebounds.

Next for the home team is the Colonial Athletic Association Championship Tournament taking place in Washington D.C. from March 7 to March 10.

“Coach has been talking about playing our best basketball in March. We might not be quite [at] our best, but I think we’re heading in the right direction, trending up after these last two games and I feel pretty confident,” said Miller, “I like us against anyone.”

The Cougars finish off the season with a 17-13 record, placing fourth in conference standings. The first game for the College in the CAA Tournament will be against fifth-ranked Delaware on Sunday, March 8 at 2:30pm. The game will be broadcasted on FloHoops.
